 Mission

 

We believe that the presence of our Church continues and develops the Christian witness to the love and care of God for his world and his people

We believe that all people have a right to membership of God's world

  • As people and as a building, we look for ways of furthering the good news of Jesus Christ in company with our neighbouring Christians
  • As part of the good news, we love and care for all God's people in joy and sorrow, from birth to death
  • We welcome all God's people at all stages of life and in all conditions

This mission statement was agreed by the Parochial Church Council in 2002

In March 2007, the PCC amended the statement as follows.
Our mission statement is to build confidence in Jesus Christ in the heart of the community through prayer, worship and learning, in joy and practice service to the wider world.
